Scourge of the Sword Coast: Session - Report Card

We kick this season off in Daggerford, a smaller town of the Sword Coast where adventurers are drawn to the possibility of treasure and plunder.

Humanoids of all types have been more active in the area and no one knows why. Recently you have heard rumours of confrontations with the Red Wizards of Thay up by Dragonspear Castle: but that was all that they were...rumours.

The characters will travel almost anyplace, such as cities nearby such as Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate (oh no! Not Baldur's Gate again.)

Join Derek, Craig and I on this roller coaster ride of adventure and scavenging as we talk about what happened at our table.

  1. Sorry i know this season is done & gone but I'm just listening through it. Just had a comment about how both DMs point out the time restrictions they faced on this adventure, and how the party keeps being distracted. Don't the DMs feel that goofy scavenger hunt they added is a big reason the group can't get focused on the actual adventure? Also it was posted several times by D&D admins that this adventure was not intended for the party to reach every point.
    Enjoy Derek & Craig's reports & comments.

  2. I thought the scavenger hunt was an interesting idea, but I agree with you that it probably helped detract the tables from the main goal of the adventure. The scavenger hunt was to spice up the extremely boring start to this adventure. I think what detracted from everything was that they were trying to play two tables together which a lot of intertable discussion slowed things down.
